History

A boxing kangaroo returns in KAO the Kangaroo: Round 2, the sequel Poland's Tate Interactive sent to the cube. Kao still fights with gloves in a cartoon platformer, and this round continues the European series rather than rebooting it.

Levels mix punching foes with the usual run to the exit, and the gloves are the joke and the weapon at once. The first game had already introduced the character; Round 2 is the follow-up that reached Nintendo's disc console.

European players who knew the earlier Kao adventure meet a brighter, broader set of stages here. The cube release is that sequel, gloves and all, not a sports sim about real boxing.
