History

Garcian Smith answers the calls in killer7, the 2005 on-rails assassin game Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture made for Capcom. Cel shading flattens the Smith syndicate into a comic, and the game debuted on the cube and PlayStation 2.

Harman Smith and the other personalities switch in when a different gun is required, while Heaven Smiles charge down corridors that do not allow a free camera. Kun Lan's opposition is philosophical and bloody at once, which is the tone Grasshopper chose.

The cube debut is that on-rails, cel-shaded campaign. Players expecting a free-aim stealth game meet a line of targets and a cast that shares one body.
