History

Drift courses from two Namco games share Ridge Racer 64. Revolution's corners sit beside the first game's roads. Nintendo Software Technology's 2000 release is the Nintendo 64 chapter of the series, built from Ridge Racer and Ridge Racer Revolution tracks.

A powerslide through a corner is still the skill. Boost pads and the nameless rival cars keep the arcade timing Namco's cabinets taught.

Revolution's layouts sit beside the first game's roads. The Nintendo 64 chapter is that mix, developed at Nintendo's American studio rather than as a straight cabinet dump.
