Reincarnation as a deer is the sentence, and The Deer God is the pixel side-scroller about living that animal life. Eating the wrong animal changes the deer's karma and the body the next stretch will wear.
Karma from what the deer eats and whom it helps changes the body and the ending. Predators, hunters, and a spirit trial replace a gun-toting avatar.
The pixel deer and its karma also reached the successor console in 2015 with the karma body still changing. A wrong kill can cost the progress the antlers were starting to show.
