Matching runs are pulled out of columns, and Tumblestone is the versus puzzle that clears a stack by yanking one color in a connected line. Gravity after a pull can line up a color the player did not mean to free.
Gravity drops the remainder, which can complete or ruin the next pull. Opponents race the same idea on adjacent boards, so a slow read of the column loses the round.
The 2016 launch included a successor-console version. Spells that rotate or freeze a stack sit on top of that simple yank, without turning the match into a story campaign.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
