History

Two commanding officers share one battle in Advance Wars: Dual Strike. Each CO owns a front, the DS shows both screens at once, and a tag power spends the meters they have filled together.

Intelligent Systems and Nintendo released the follow-up to the Game Boy Advance pair in 2005. A tag power spends both meters on one split map. Black Hole returns, and newer officers join Andy, Nell, and the earlier cast for dual fronts that a single GBA map could not show.

A CO's power still changes the math of a whole turn. The new trick is firing two of those powers across a split battlefield.
