History

George Stobbart returns with Nico Collard in Broken Sword 3 - The Sleeping Dragon, the 2003 sequel that was the first Broken Sword in 3D. Revolution Software moved the pair off the point-and-click cursor and onto direct control, and the cube was among the platforms.

The conversation-and-puzzle habit of the earlier games stays, but George now climbs and shoves crates in spaces the flat scenes could not show. Nico is a partner in the plot again, not a voice on a telephone.

The cube disc is that 3D chapter. Fans of the Paris cafe opening meet a sequel that finally lets George walk around a puzzle instead of naming a verb for it.
