History

Fusion dances and a board-game story arrive in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2, Dimps' 2003 fighting sequel. Goku and Vegeta can combine, the story moves as a board of spaces, and Atari published the Western release that includes the GameCube version.

Capsules and a roster of transformations sit beside the board, so a fight is a square you landed on. The first Budokai was a more straightforward ladder; this sequel adds the fusions and the map.

Dimps' board is the campaign structure. The cube disc is part of that multiplatform release, fusions included.
