History

Katie Greenbriar explores an empty house in Gone Home, Fullbright's story told by walking through rooms, with a Nintendo Switch port later. Sam's notes and the parents' troubled marriage wait in drawers, a storm hits the Pacific Northwest home, and the night is the 2013 release.

There is no combat and no puzzle inventory beyond a letter or a key. The house itself is the whole interface.

The team had come from environmental storytelling on BioShock before making this smaller place. A quiet 1995 evening is the date on the answering machine.
