History

Juan Aguacate's wrestler toolkit expands in Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition. Drinkbox took its 2013 luchador adventure and added stages for Wii U and Nintendo Switch. The uppercut, the rooster, and the swap between the land of the living and the dead remain Juan's answers to Calaca's skeletons.

Extra arenas and a harder route sit on top of the original metroid-like map of towns and temples. The chicken form is still a key for small gaps, and the slam still needs a stunned foe.

The 2013 journey is the base. The 2014 championship set adds those extra stages, still starring the dead man in the mask.
