A sleepwalker will march off an impossible path, and Back to Bed is Bedtime Digital's puzzle about placing objects in his way. An apple placed on the tile is the only reason the sleepwalker turns before the Escher stair ends.
Escher stairs bend the route, so a bridge that looks connected may drop him into a fish-filled void. An apple or a blocking piece has to sit where his fixed stride would otherwise leave the tile.
The 2014 release treats that nudge as the whole verb. There is no jump button for the dreamer; someone else has to furnish the detour.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
