History

Fairhaven City is a reboot, not a sequel, in Need for Speed: Most Wanted - A Criterion Game, Criterion's 2012 open-world racer. It is a different game from the 2005 Most Wanted, and the Wii U version was part of that multiplatform release.

Billboards smash into cops, and a most-wanted list of cars waits in the world to be found and driven. Easy entry into almost any parked vehicle replaces the older garage-and-blacklist career.

The 2005 Rockport story had Razor and a heat ladder. Fairhaven has a list of cars and a city you enter without that feud.
