A lure and a motion-controlled rod are the tackle in SEGA Bass Fishing. The 2008 Wii release brings Sega's arcade fishing game, originally Get Bass, onto those motion controls.
Choosing a lure, reading the water, and fighting a bass that can snap the line are the rounds. The arcade cabinet had a physical rod; the home version asks the controller to fake that tug.
Get Bass is the name the arcade crowd used. The Wii release keeps the lake, the lures, and the fight, and it puts the cast in the player's hands.
