History

Po's film became a brawler, and Kung Fu Panda is the tie-in that shipped separate living-room and handheld versions alongside the movie. Tai Lung's threat is staged as short brawls rather than as one long open valley.

The Dragon Warrior rolls, slams, and eats his way through Tai Lung's threat in short fights. DreamWorks' animal masters appear as allies and obstacles rather than as a wrestling roster with weight classes.

The 2008 pair does not share a single set of stages. Motion gestures cover some strikes at home, while the pocket build retells the valley of peace with its own maps.
