History

Red, a dog-like hunter, crews an airship in Solatorobo: Red the Hunter. CyberConnect2 developed the adventure, and XSEED published it in the west in 2011. Trance form is the heightened state he enters when a fight outgrows his usual swings.

The floating world is the same one Tail Concerto used, populated by animal people and airships. Hunter jobs send the ship between islands. Trance changes his body and his strength for a limited burst.

Platform jumping fills the ruins, and the ship covers the distance between them. Towns perched on scraps of land hand out the work. Elh travels with him in the cockpit while Red is the body you move in a scrap.

CyberConnect2 tied the hunter story to that older world without asking you to replay Tail Concerto. XSEED handled the Western release. Trance spends a gauge, so the transformation is a burst rather than a permanent suit.
