History

Chibiterasu, a wolf pup, travels with a human partner in Okamiden. Capcom released the sequel in 2011, set after Okami. The Celestial Brush is drawn with the stylus on the lower screen.

Strokes can still call the sun, cut a foe, or bloom a tree, carrying techniques over from the earlier tale. The pup is small enough to share the road with a child rather than running the provinces alone. Companions change as the journey moves on.

Okami followed the full-grown white wolf Amaterasu. This story follows her pup, so the gods and battles sit downstream of that first victory. You are not replaying her original journey under a shorter title.

Capcom kept the ink-wash hills and moved the brush onto the stylus. The lower screen is the paper. The upper screen is the world that ink changes.
