The Spencer mansion returns in Resident Evil: Deadly Silence, and knife attacks are flicked on the touch screen. Capcom released the DS remake in 2006. Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are still the investigators in those halls.
Rebirth mode rearranges rooms and item placement, so memory of the original mansion is not a map. Classic mode stays closer to the original layout and the original shocks. The stylus knife is a close weapon in the corridors.
Locked doors, scarce ammo, and ink-ribbon saves still structure the night. The portrait hall, the dining room, and the residence remain the geography. Caution is the pace the item counts enforce.
Resident Evil 4 is a different outbreak in a different country, with a merchant in the safe rooms. Capcom aimed this cartridge at the first mansion. Classic keeps the familiar route, and Rebirth moves the rooms.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
The series list above is the whole family set in this catalog.
