Jill Valentine flees a pursuer who will not stay dead in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Capcom's 1999 sequel set in a dying Raccoon City. Nemesis crashes through walls the earlier mansion never allowed, and live choices at key moments fork the escape.
Carlos Oliveira meets Jill between those interruptions, and the clock tower and the city streets replace the Spencer estate. The GameCube version is a later port of that PlayStation game, with the same rocket-launcher ending waiting for anyone who lasts.
Nemesis is the campaign's structure: a boss who is also a random encounter. The cube port is that city escape, not the mansion rebuild Mikami directed afterward.
