History

Canyon duels and a racing crew follow Most Wanted in Need For Speed Carbon, EA's street sequel from 2006 that treats a canyon drop as a loss. GameCube, Wii, and Nintendo DS versions were sold, and the handheld ones were built as their own games.

You draft teammates, then take a canyon sprint where one bad line drops the car. Territory and crew roles matter on the home versions that inherited the earlier blacklist structure.

A Game Boy Advance edition is another separate build under the Carbon name. The canyon crews and the territory map belong to the console game, not to the pocket cartridge.
