History

Andy's toys get an open box in Disney•Pixar Toy Story 3: The Video Game, the 2010 tie-in Avalanche Software developed for Disney from the Pixar film. Woody and Buzz move through a toy-box mode as well as the story, and Wii and Nintendo DS versions both shipped.

Sunnyside and the film's daycare plot give the missions their stakes. The toy box is the mode that lets you set up play without following Lotso's scene order.

Avalanche's tie-in is both a story and a box of toys. The Wii and DS releases are that pair of modes, not a single rail of film clips.
