History

Wild cards and a forced draw keep UNO faithful to Mattel's shedding deck, matching colors and numbers the way the tabletop pack does. Motion-console and dual-screen editions let a room play without the physical cards, including the reverse and the skip.

A player who forgets the color call still eats the penalty the kitchen-table rules demand. The computer opponents follow that same shed, so a solo game is the deck without needing three friends on the couch.

The editions are the tabletop rules on a console, not a new sport built around the logo. Four colors, a wild, and the growing hand are the whole design.
