One screen holds the whole scuffle in Woah Dave! Choice Provisions built that small multiplayer throwback around a pit that fills with aliens.
Objects the creatures leave can be thrown before the floor is lost. Rounds are short enough for a couch rematch, which is the design rather than a long campaign map.
The one-screen pit of aliens reached both the successor console and the glasses-free handheld in 2014 with the egg still deadly if dropped. A single missed catch turns a useful egg into the thing that ends the life.
