Units drop into lanes against incoming waves, and Zombie Defense is the defense game about holding that line. A sandbag chokepoint upgraded early holds a wave that a scattered row of troops would leak.
Towers and troops spend a limited purse, and a breach in the sandbag row costs the round. The undead keep to the path they are given, so the layout of those purchases is the strategy.
The 2010 design later sold on the successor console's shop. Upgrading a chokepoint matters more than steering a single hero through a story mission.
