History

Iguana Entertainment put a circus bat to work in an amusement park, and Sunsoft published Aero the Acro-Bat in 1993 already. Aero dives, drills through a platform, and rides star-shaped platforms across a funhouse.

Super Nintendo and Genesis versions share the bat and the park. Spikes, cannons, and a magician's traps are the hazards, and a missed dive is the usual way a life ends.

The unlicensed-feeling mascot push of the era sits on a fully licensed Sunsoft box. The drill attack and the circus setting are what the two home versions were selling.
