Physical boards and a PC edition both carry Alwa's Awakening, a new adventure written for the old console rather than a rerelease of a licensed 1980s hit. The heroine's staff and the dungeon maps were made in the modern indie wave and then also pressed as a cartridge.
The release arrived in 2017, with the physical NES cart as a real product beside the computer version. It is new software, not a relabel of someone else's old stages.
Playing it on the original hardware is the point of that cartridge pressing. The new dungeon adventure and the dual release, PC and NES board, are the facts that place it.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
