Accolade's sequel Bubsy 2 put the bobcat back on the Super Nintendo and the Genesis. Larger stages and the same talkative mascot define the follow-up, which arrived in 1994.
Bubsy's glide and a remark after a hit carry into those wider levels. The bobcat's mouth, more than any new mechanic, is what players associate with the sequel.
The first Bubsy cartridge established the comments and the glide. This follow-up stretches the stages and keeps Accolade's mascot talking.
