History

Pixel, whose name is Daisuke Amaya, gave away Cave Story: Doukutsu Monogatari for PC in 2004 as a cave he built alone. Later paid ports, including a Nintendo 3DS eShop release, spread Quote's journey.

Quote the robot, Curly, and a cave full of mimiga villagers carry the story Amaya wrote alone. The weapon levels and the hidden best ending reward a careful route.

Game Boy Advance, GameCube, and Nintendo DS listings sit among the places the cave later traveled. The free PC original is the version he first handed to players.
