History

Hogwarts is a turn-based journey in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (GBC), Griptonite's 2001 role-playing take on the first story. It is separate from the console action games, which put Harry in a 3D castle instead of a party battle.

Spells are commands, a classmate can stand in the party, and classes in charms or potions feed the next fight. The stone of the title sits at the end of a school year that also includes corridors, a forbidden forest, and a troll who does not belong in a dungeon.

Philosophers and sorcerers share the book's two titles depending on the country. This cartridge uses the sorcerer's name and plays as a role-playing game, not as the home-console leap across moving staircases.
