Forgotten Realms errands fill SSI's Hillsfar (1993), a walled city of arena fights and lockpicking. The hero rides into town, takes odd jobs, and steps into an arena when the city wants a duel.
It started on computers in the late 1980s, with the same mix of mini-tasks inside one town. Picking a lock is a timed challenge of its own, separate from the arena's weapon swings.
The NES edition is a later cartridge of that computer spinoff. Guild jobs, the arena, and the city's gates remain the three ways a visit gets spent.
