Bilbo's contract with the dwarves drives Hobbit, The (2003), Sierra's adaptation of Tolkien's novel. The road belongs to the book rather than to the later Hobbit films.
The Shire, Gollum's riddle game, and a long walk toward Smaug's mountain structure the levels. Gandalf appears as the wizard who will not stay for the whole road, which matches the book's habit of leaving Bilbo to the problem.
Peter Jackson's Hobbit pictures arrived years afterward. Sierra's game belongs to the novel and to that earlier window, with the ring and the burglar still the center.
