History

Colored troops match in rows before they charge, and Might and Magic Clash of Heroes is Capybara Games' puzzle debut on the handheld. A wall unit stops the enemy column, which is as important as matching three swordsmen of the same hue.

Units of the same hue stack until the column is ready to attack, and walls or spells interrupt the other side's build. The fantasy map between battles gives the matching a campaign instead of an endless score.

The 2009 original lived on that dual screen. A later high-definition remake spread the same row combat elsewhere, after the handheld version had already taught it.
