Hiro's animal spells carry Mini Ninjas, the 2009 family adventure IO Interactive made after years as the Hitman studio. The young ninja frees creatures and turns into them, and both the motion console and the dual-screen handheld received versions of that journey.
An evil samurai's ash-covered land is the map, and the tone stays light even when the studio's other series was about contracts. The other young ninjas train beside him, and Hiro is the one the story follows into the mountains.
The surprise, at the time, was the studio name on a gentle adventure. The motion-console and handheld releases are that same young ninja, not a tactical contract.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
None in this catalog yet.
No wider family is grouped for this title beyond the series list.
