Rebellion lifted the last Genetic Infantryman out of 2000 AD, and Rogue Trooper follows that blue soldier across the poison wastes of Nu Earth. Nu Earth's chem-clouds would kill an ordinary soldier, which is why only the blue infantryman can cross them.
