Green Goblin's glider is the boss language of Spider-Man: The Movie, the 2002 tie-in Treyarch developed for Activision from Sam Raimi's first film. The GameCube version is that 3D action game, with web swinging across a city and the parade sequence among the set pieces.
Oscorp, Harry Osborn, and the bones of the film's plot give the missions their order. Combat is aerial as often as it is on a roof, which is how a licensed brawler of that year tried to feel like the movie's camera.
The cube disc is the film's action in a free-roam city of the time. It is not the later open-world Spider-Man games that reused the movies' titles.
