Plush-like animal care, closer to toy creatures than to Zoo Tycoon, is World of Zoo. THQ's 2009 sim plays that way, with a DS release.
Feeding, washing, and mini-challenges with a single animal replace budget spreadsheets and guest paths. The older Zoo Tycoon model of fences and donations is the contrast the design avoids.
The DS release carries that creature-care approach. Exhibits are intimate and toy-like, not a full park economy.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.
