History

Sigma and Phi face the AB game in Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, Chunsoft's sequel to 999 directed by Kotaro Uchikoshi. A vote can betray a partner between escape rooms, Alice, Clover, and Luna take part, and the facility story is the 2012 release.

Some faces return from the ship of the previous game. A flowchart of endings unlocks later branches on Nintendo 3DS.

Uchikoshi's direction is the link back to 999 aboard the earlier ship. Puzzle rooms plus that deadly vote are the structure.
