Hartsock's squad retells the Normandy fighting from another foxhole in Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood. Gearbox's follow-up to Road to Hill 30 still fails when a fire team rushes a farm window with nobody suppressing it.
Fire teams still suppress and flank with the same order language, while this sergeant fills in battles the earlier campaign only heard on the radio. Hedgerows and farm strongpoints remain the ground.
Gearbox shipped both sergeants' stories in 2005, and a later motion-console port kept Hartsock's campaign. Squad commands still matter more than a lone sprint through the fields.
