New rooms keep the elastic tongue busy in Chameleon Twist 2. A swallowed foe is still ammunition on the new poles. Japan System Supply continued the Nintendo 64 platformer in 1998, still swinging from poles and swallowing foes with the same long reach.
The sequel's layouts change which gap the tongue must bridge. A swallowed enemy remains ammunition, and the camera still chases a hero whose mouth is the grappling hook.
The first Chameleon Twist introduced the limb. This follow-up spends it on a second set of poles, pits, and targets.
