History

Reinhardt Schneider and Carrie Fernandez enter a 3D castle in Konami's Castlevania (1999), often called Castlevania 64 by players. It is a new quest, not a port of Symphony of the Night, and the villa, the hedge maze, and the vampires are built for a 3D camera.

Reinhardt uses a whip, while Carrie fights with magic, so the same hall is a different danger for each hunter. Contractual vampires and a nitro-fueled skeleton chase sit among the early rooms.

Symphony's inverted castle and Alucard's sword are absent. This pair of hunters and this polygonal estate are the Nintendo 64 chapter.
