Donkey Kong hangs from pegs by gripping the shoulder buttons in DK: King of Swing. Paon developed the Game Boy Advance game, Nintendo published it in 2005, and holding L and R together is how he sticks. Release one side and he pivots; release at the right angle and he launches toward the next peg.
Boards of pegs sit in jungle scenery, with bananas and hazards in the gaps. A mistimed let-go drops him, and no run-and-roll replaces the swing. The mischief around the boards is jungle slapstick, but the buttons only ever mean grip, pivot, and throw.
Country games send him sprinting past barrels, mine carts, and long platforms. This cartridge barely uses that kind of running. Paon builds the test out of the peg field and the two shoulders, so a player who only mashes a jump will not cross the gap.
Nintendo published a jungle caper whose skill is the timing of a handhold. Charge the swing, choose a peg, and let go. The board itself, not a scrolling footrace, is the stage.
Same series is the tight name match. Same franchise is the wider family. Same platform is other games on the systems named above.

No wider family is grouped for this title beyond the series list.
