History

A hovercraft joins the gunship in Jungle Strike, Electronic Arts' isometric follow-up to Desert Strike with extra vehicles besides the helicopter. A motorcycle, a hovercraft, and the familiar gunship share the 1993 war against a drug lord and a nuclear plot.

Super Nintendo and Game Boy versions came after the Genesis lead. Passengers, fuel, and armor still limit a sortie, and the extra chassis are what separate this campaign from the desert-only predecessor.

The map remains a menu of missions rather than one open country. Choosing the hovercraft for a river and the chopper for a fortress is the new decision.
