History

Nintendo, Brownie Brown, and HAL Laboratory told Mother 3 in chapters with rhythm-timed battles, releasing it in Japan during 2006 and never officially localizing it then. It is the Game Boy Advance sequel to EarthBound and the last Mother game.

Lucas swings on the beat, and a combo grows only if the next press matches the music. Tazmily Village gives way to a Pigmask invasion as the chapters move from family loss toward a darker island.

Porky ties the ending back to the villain EarthBound players already feared. The cartridge's script is the Japanese text, because no official translation shipped with it then.
