History

Cabinet art surrounds the coins in Namco Museum (1995). Pac-Man's maze sits in the same hallway as Galaga. PlayStation owners got Namco's arcade set, including Pac-Man, Galaga, and Dig Dug, presented with museum plaques rather than as a bare high-score table.

The mazes, the formations, and the digging dirt play by their coin-op rules. A gallery between games is the compilation's extra room, a walk past the cabinets.

Other Namco Museum volumes picked different lineups. This first gathering is the one with those three marquee machines in the same hallway.
