Sanctioned race days replaced open-road police, and Need for Speed: ProStreet is EA Black Box's turn toward organized events. A drift meet scores angle and speed, while a grip race only cares about the clean lap.
Grip, drift, speed, and drag each score a meet in their own way. The wanted-level chase that defined earlier entries is gone, so a clean lap is the prize instead of a smashed roadblock.
