Colored cubes extrude, vanish, or become springs, and Q.U.B.E: Director's Cut is Toxic Games' longer first-person puzzle set. Yellow cubes spring, blue cubes vanish, and red cubes slide, which is the whole vocabulary.
The original room-to-room toy grows a narrative layer in this cut, with a voice guiding the gloves that paint each block's behavior. Red, blue, and yellow commands stay the vocabulary for crossing a white test chamber.
The expanded edition reached the successor console in 2014, with the same colored verbs. Solving still means assigning the right command to the right cube before the gap can be crossed.
