Color is the hiding place, and Spy Chameleon - RGB Agent is the shop puzzle about matching a chameleon to the surface under him. A red floor is safe only while the agent is red, and a laser sees every other hue.
Lasers and guards see only the wrong hue, so a red tile is safe solely while the agent is red. Collecting the objectives means crossing a room that changes paint from tile to tile.
The 2014 successor-console release makes that swap the entire verb. There is no gun to clear a patrol; the patrol is avoided by becoming the floor.
