History

Food pellets, fired from a launcher, calm the animals in Super 3-D Noah's Ark, Wisdom Tree's unlicensed Super Nintendo game. The viewpoint and the maze owe a debt to a Wolfenstein-style engine, but the targets are goats and ostriches that need feeding.

Wisdom Tree released the cartridge in 1994 outside Nintendo's approval. The cart bypassed the lockout chip, which is how an unlicensed board could boot at all.

Noah's errand is the story pasted on that engine: stock the ark by stunning creatures with food rather than by killing guards. The lockout bypass and the food launcher are the two facts that identify the cartridge.
