History

A revert links a vert trick back into a manual in Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3, the move Neversoft added with a deeper park editor. The revert is the glue: land a ramp trick, revert, and the combo does not die before the next grind.

PlayStation 2 led the 2001 release. The Nintendo 64 edition is a later, reduced version of that same skating design, with a smaller slice of the parks and goals.

Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance editions are flatter takes, and a GameCube version sits closer to the lead design. The revert and the thicker editor are the ideas the Nintendo 64 cart only partly had room to hold.
