History

Team17 stuffed a deep editor and a huge weapon list into Worms Armageddon, widely treated as the high point of the flat artillery series. Worms take turns lobbing shots across a hill that crumbles, and wind tugs the slower bombs.

That 1999 computer design is what the Nintendo 64 and Game Boy Color editions carry over. Holy hand grenades, sheep, and air strikes sit on the weapon list, and the editor can store a custom hill.

A team is finished when its last worm drops into the water. The Game Boy Color cart cannot offer the full computer editor, yet the craters and the turn order remain the joke.
