History

Television channels are the worlds in Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko (1999). A hidden remote opens a channel the trilogy had not used. Crystal Dynamics closed the gecko trilogy with another platformer built on those TV jokes, tail attacks, and remote-control stage selects.

Gex whips with his tail and quotes his way through a channel's set dressing. Rez's media empire is the villainous frame the earlier gecko games already used, and this one spends it on a last set of parody rooms.

Secret remotes hide extra channels. The joke density, not a new move set, is what the trilogy's last cartridge adds.
